Audio & Sound Editing
I have a 3 minute video recording singing to camera. The audio requires the following edits: -Reverb added to the vocal, where appropriate -Adding subtle backing music. Perhaps a hand pan, harmonium or acoustic guitar The aim is the make it sound ethereal - similar style to that of artists Clara Sophia and Mei-lan. The backing music will need to be royalty free and I will need to purchase the rights to use it so I can eventually upload to music sharing platforms. At the moment, I’m recording using the inbuilt phone mic so if you have some suggestions on how to get clear and better quality audio that would be a bonus. This would be ongoing work. Please provide your feed for editing one 3 minute audio.

Hello, EDIT: This project currently has 3 candidates, you are free to apply but I will be focusing on these individuals first. Thank you. I am looking for someone to edit the audio files for my audiodrama based on A Tale of Four Mages written by me. The files will be downloaded from Google Drive and uploaded to the same place. You will need to sign a contract as the product you will be working on is copywritten by me and produced by Dorrance Publishing. The contract will specifically be between you and me (the owner of the rights) This is a long-term recurring project, A Tale of Four Mages has 56 chapters, an epilogue and we are on chapter 8. I also have 12 other books; many are awaiting publication (future work). Your first task will be to arrange the files in order. The files come in chapter sets of 1 to 4. The narrator has been instructed to properly number these files for easier editing. Your second task will be to eliminate noises and mistakes from the narrator as best you can. The narrator is young and a mouth breather, but she is willing to learn and has a good attitude. At this point you will upload the first file, a clean version with no sound effects. Your third task will be to add sound effects as needed to create a scene. Ex; footsteps, bootsteps, magic usage, wind, trees rustling, snoring, etc. Some single scenes may require up to five sounds at a time. Many scenes will need unique or modified sounds, so they are a little different from one another. Changing speed, pitch, volume, etc will accomplish this. Videos will need to be 8-12 minutes each. Videos will need a 20-40 minute build up before the narration and a 20-40 minute breakdown after. Length is determined by the narration length. You will be expected to produce one edited video per two weeks, but this can go up to a video every week once my current publication is finished and I get another narrator. Payment Name your price, we can haggle if necessary but once we agree on something that is the pay we go with. I have a reputation for developing long-term working relationships with my clients, often giving them first dibs on multiple paying jobs. I offer bonuses for hard work, but I am not made of money. I also offer advanced pay when applicable. All these details and more will be covered in the contract. Do you have any questions? How much are you willing to do this per video? I am looking for a talented Sound Designer and Audio Editor to edit a high-quality audio version of a personal creative non-fiction essay titled "Dwelling." The piece (approx. 30 minutes) explores deep and sensitive themes. I have already recorded the English narration. I need a partner who can polish the vocal track and build an immersive, cinematic soundscape. This is not a standard corporate voiceover job. It is a piece of audio art. The soundscape should not just be "background music." It needs to be textured and atmospheric—using silence, ambient noise (e.g., distant London traffic, wind, subtle fire textures, museum ambience), and minimalism to support the narrator's voice, not overpower it. Key Responsibilities: Vocal Editing: Clean the raw English recording (remove breaths, mouth clicks, unwanted pauses) and ensure a consistent, warm, professional broadcast standard. Pacing & Rhythm: Adjust the timing of the narration to let the poignant moments breathe. You must have a strong grasp of narrative flow. Sound Design (The "Soundscape"): compose or curate sound effects and textures that match the imagery of the text. Mixing & Mastering: Deliver a final mix suitable for high-quality streaming/broadcast. Requirements: English Proficiency (Native/Bilingual Level): You must have excellent English listening skills to understand the subtle emotional inflections, irony, and gravity of the text. If you miss the nuance of a word, the sound design will be wrong. Creative Portfolio: You must provide examples of narrative work (audio drama, storytelling podcasts, radio documentaries, or artistic sound installations). Music production reels alone are not enough. Sensitivity: The subject matter is tragic and personal. The sound design must be respectful, never melodramatic or cheesy. To Apply: Please share 2-3 links to narrative audio projects you have designed. In your proposal, tell me briefly how you approach "silence" in a mix. Confirm your English proficiency level.

The Wizard of Oz: OzCorp Edition (Promo Production)
The Project: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Music Specialist/Producer to join the artistic team for our upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz: OzCorp Edition. This vision blends the classic heart of the musical with a sharp critique of corporate control and digital perfection—a world where drab, sepia-toned Kansas contrasts with the hyper-saturated lies of OzCorp. The Vision & Deliverables: We require exciting, high-quality music tracks for promotional videos and performer rehearsals only; these tracks will NOT be used in the full production score. The tone should be ironically corporate and overly cheerful. Sound Collage 1: "The Cyclone" Soundscape: Produce an intense, distorted soundscape for the storm sequence that layers musical motifs and digital static with current COVID commentary and climate change news flashes. Two (2) Additional Song Arrangements/Two (2) Additional Sound Collages: To be determined based on the producer's expertise and promotional needs (e.g., an industrial/Steampunk "Winkie Chant" sound collage, or a trap/EDM remix of "Follow the Yellow Brick Road"). The Ideal Candidate: Proficient in music production software (DAWs). Proven ability to fuse orchestral/classic musical theatre styles with contemporary genres (Hip-Hop, EDM, Industrial, Trap). Exploring Music Licensing & Resale Options for My Software
I’m looking for someone with experience in reselling mainstream music - the kind of tracks you’d typically find on Spotify or in the charts. I currently sell a piece of software that lets users create and host music bingo games using their own legally purchased music. However, we’ve been getting a growing number of enquiries from people asking if the software can connect directly to Spotify (which it currently can’t). Most of these users don’t have their own music libraries, which creates a barrier to entry. To make things easier for them, I’d like to explore a few possible solutions - and I’m looking for someone who can help manage or advise on this process: Integration – Linking the software with an existing streaming service such as Spotify, Tidal, or Beatport. In-house streaming – Hosting a small curated library of around 1,000 licensed music or video files for customer use. Physical media – Selling USB sticks by post containing full-length or short licensed song clips. Digital downloads – Selling those same full-length or short clips directly via our website. This isn’t about generating profit - my goal is simply to make the software more accessible to users who don’t already own their own music collection. If this sounds like something you could assist with, I’d love to chat further. Best regards, Nick Burrett Founder, Hitmix Bingo
Audio needs mastering and broken into many short mp3 files
I am the Academic Manager at an English language learning platform, responsible for our educational materials and tools for students studying for an English level test for immigration and university purposes. We are in the process of replacing the user interface for our 25 Speaking mock tests. This means we need to redo the audio that the student hears. This audio consists of an 'examiner' introducing each part and asking them questions. This audio comprises many short mp3s. Attached is a PDF showing how this works. I have already been to a local studio to record myself asking these questions (conducting speaking tests is something I did as a teacher a lot). I have tracks of questions for each mock test, plus some additional phrases for transitioning between parts. That is: - 25 x 3 minute (approx) question tracks: the questions of the mock test (unedited) - Additional 10 minutes (approx) of connecting phrases and introductions (unedited) Total unedited audio: 85 minutes (approx). All of this audio needs to be broken down into short mp3s. That is: - each mock test broken into 25 individual question mp3s (25 mock tests total, so 25x25) - connecting phrases mp3s (approx 30 mp3s total) - Total edited mp3s (ranging from 2-10 seconds): 655 individual mp3s approx Specifications: - All mp3s trimmed with almost no margin. - all audio normalised/levelled to be roughly similar - all audio de-essed and EQed for intelligibility but also 'pleasantness-to-the-ear' (the voice (mine) is quite sibilant!) - breaths and mouth sounds removed as much as possible - mastered for use with headphones, laptop speakers, phone speakers (our users use all types of devices) - files named and organised into folders for each mock test, and a folder for additional content. I will add that I am not a total novice when it comes to recording - I used an acoustically dampened booth and a pop filter. However, it is to be expected that these recordings will fall short of the standard produced by a professional voice actor. I am aware of this and have reasonable expectations. In terms of timeline, we would like to have this by 5th December, but I appreciate that by the time we speak and agree on the project, this is going to be quite tight. This deadline can be pushed back a little; we can discuss further. I would love to have a call at some point next week to discuss details further. Let me know when works for you. I am away Friday (tomorrow) but otherwise available 09:00-18:00pm GMT and am based in the UK. To summarise: - Please let me know if the proposed timeline is realistic - Let me know when you'd like to meet next week. We can figure out how long this will take I hope! Thank you for considering this project. Speak soon, Paddy
Need Instruments / sounds replayed- re-recorded /
I am seeking skilled musicians to re-record and reinterpret various instrumental sounds for several music tracks. The ideal candidates should possess the ability to listen attentively and replicate the essence of each sound, ensuring a close approximation to the originals. While exact replication is not necessary, the quality of the re-tracked sounds should be high enough for me to refine on my end. With approximately 3 to 5 records requiring attention, I am open to hiring multiple individuals to meet a tight deadline of one week. Your unique musical talents could greatly enhance the final product. Let me know which you're interested in from my shared links and bid accurately as I will not renegotiate after i accept your bid. https://soundcloud.com/amkmuzik/broken-dreams?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing&si=bf8ba67a32ad45168086b2a80fe4c844 https://soundcloud.com/amkmuzik/heaven?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing&si=4ad7c256c6cb4fb88b7a7a576cb28a53 https://soundcloud.com/amkmuzik/hold-me-back?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing&si=058a22f3b3524e87ae06c526acc29276

Very poor video/audio needs audio enhanced
We have a very poor quality cctv video file mp4 with big silent sections or background noise and some poor quality speech. We do not expect miracles but we need to remove the empty space and try to get the speech enhanced to identify any words possible. It is less than 12 minutes with a small amount of speech. A transcript of identifiable words would be great. 48 hours maximum turnaround. If we can identify the sound source such as tv sound etc or actual live speech, that would be a help.
Audio Editing
I am seeking a skilled audio editor to enhance and refine two short audio clips before proceeding with an extensive 11-hour podcast project. The first clip is 86 seconds long, with identifiable human sounds occurring between 1-5 seconds, 45-68 seconds, and 75-86 seconds. The second clip, lasting 56 seconds, features human noises from 25-55 seconds. The tasks involve amplifying and clarifying human voices, reducing static, and removing any extraneous dog barks. If you can successfully complete this sample, we can then discuss the larger podcast audio editing project.
